Holiday Gifts for Everyone on your List
The best gifts are always those that are super personal, unique, and hold special meaning. But sometimes, that’s just not possible! So, if you need something last minute, or something for that family member you don’t know all that well, here are some of the best holiday gifts to consider.
1. Oprah’s favorite things
You can always count on Oprah for a top-tier curated gift list. Seriously, whenever I’m not sure what to get for someone, I turn to Oprah’s annual Favorite Things list to spark some ideas. And this year is no exception.
Here are a few of my favorites holiday gifts from her 2023 list:
Of course, some of the items Oprah likes to list are a little out of my price range. But, you can always scroll through to get a few ideas and then swap them out for a more reasonably priced alternative. The Sherpa robe, for example, has a super hefty price tag. But, if you like the idea of it, you can always search for a robe that fits your budget!
2. Subscription Boxes
Subscription boxes are the new gift cards. Except, they’re actually way better. For one thing, it’s a much more personal gift. Plus, the recipient doesn’t actually have to do their own shopping. Instead, a new gift is delivered straight to their door! On top of that, there are subscription options for literally everyone on your list.
- For the book lover: Book of the Month
- For the wino: Winc
- For the creative: Scribbler
- For the stylish friend: Stitch Fix
Art is incredibly personal, but if there’s someone on your list who loves artwork – or who just needs some extra decor on their walls – a piece of art makes one of the best holiday gifts ever.
For this one, you’ll have to do some browsing to find the best piece for your loved one, but here are a few sites to check out:
4. Cozy Home Goods
It’s become a bit of a cliche, I know, but no holiday gift list would be complete without some cozy home goods. Think blankets, throw pillows, robes, candles, bath products, etc. A few of my favorite ideas in this category would be:
- Pajama sets
- Essential oil reed diffusers (I recommend anything from Nest)
- A super soft throw blanket (seriously – you can never have too many!)
5. Smart Gifts
Modern technology has given us so much, and that can really come in handy when searching for your holiday gifts. Smart home appliances and gadgets are a great gift idea. And, again, there’s something out there for everyone.
- Air purifier
- Robot vacuum (you know – the Roomba)
- Temperature controlled coffee mug
- Roku device
- Kindle (or another e-reader)
