If you’re anything like me, you’ve become obsessed with Margot Robbie’s Barbie press tour style. Her hair, her makeup, her fashion choices. All of it is proof that Margot basically is Barbie at this point.

Don’t believe me? I present to you, Exhibit A.

Margot Robbie’s Iconic Barbie Looks

In case you’ve missed it, Margot has been taking inspiration from literal Barbies of the past on the red carpet lately. And girl has been killing it.

Here are just a few of the Barbie looks she’s recreated for us:

Original Barbie

Of course, she had to recreate the look of the original Barbie from 1959. She wore a similar black and white striped bathing suit in the movie trailer, but her press tour look is just as striking.

Pink and Fabulous Barbie

In one of her first promotional events, Margot recreated a pink and white polka dot look from a 2015 Pink and Fabulous Barbie.

Iconic Pink Gingham

Starting in 2023, pink gingham is sure to become Barbies new signature style. In the movie trailer, Barbie wears a stunning pink gingham dress – inspired by a doll from the early 2000’s.

During her early promotional days, Margot wore a similar gingham style with this super chic two-piece set. And in Mattel’s recently unveiled Margot Robbie Barbie, the doll dons a pink gingham dress.

Red Carpet Looks

On the red carpet, Margot has taken every opportunity to channel her inner doll.

For instance, she wore this pink metallic number and honestly, it was amazing. While not an exact Barbie outfit replica, you can see the resemblance to a Happy Birthday Barbie released in 2019.

Day to Night Barbie

For this red carpet event, she basically brought a Barbie to life. Taking a cue from the 1985 Day to Night Barbie, she recreated both of the dolls outfits to a T.

Magic Earring Barbie

For this red carpet event, she goes for an exact replica again – this time taking inspiration from the 1993 Magic Earring Barbie.

Totally Hair Barbie

Another red carpet, another 90’s Barbie look. This time, she’s recreating the iconic 1992 Totally Hair Barbie.

Sparkling Pink Barbie

Whether it’s a doll from the 80’s, 90’s or even earlier, she manages to capture her recreations perfectly.

Take this example where she recreated the fashion from a vintage, 1964 Barbie.

Enchanted Evening Barbie

At the London film premiere, Margot once again took a cue from a vintage doll, recreating this elegant 1960 Enchanted Evening Barbie.

Solo Spotlight Barbie

Finally, there was the Barbie movie world premiere. Once again, Margot took her inspiration from a vintage doll.

Wearing an old Hollywood ponytail, a bold red lip, and nearly 380 Carats of diamonds, she managed to perfectly recreate the 1961 Solo in the Spotlight Barbie.

Because, yeah, if anyone deserves the spotlight at the premiere, it’s the titular character herself.

Promotional Tour Looks

While doing press for the upcoming movie, Margot has rocked every single promotional event. From a chic, two-piece pleated skirt set, to a chunky sweater, to matching separates with a blazer, her all-pink ensembles have been stunning. And the added sunglasses give it a little extra flair.

Versatile Barbie

But not every look has been pink! She’s been spotted in everything from a vintage-style sparkly blazer to a Clueless-inspired matching set in canary yellow.

Which seems to prove beyond doubt that she’s a living embodiment of the Mattel doll.

Airport Barbie

As if you needed further proof – just take a look at her airport style!

Vogue Looks

Finally, we’ve got some her recent Vogue magazine cover. All stellar examples of Barbiecore personified.

Once again, not all Barbies wear pink

It might not be Barbie’s signature color, but she can rock yellow like no other.

A Living Doll

Whoever came up with the idea for this photo shoot needs a serious raise. Styling her like an actual doll was genius! And I can’t get over her posing on a doll-stand! Next to a ruler!

And finally, Professional Barbie

Barbie has held so many different professions over the years. And Margot certainly had some fun with that at her photo shoot! Recreating her life as everything from a cowgirl to an astronaut.

That one was so pretty. My favorite was probably the fur-trimmed pink gown. So elegant!
